We follow State Licensing guidelines with a low teacher to child ratio and our classrooms and staff meet all the guidelines required by the State of California.
Carolyn Mendoza Director
Carolyn began working for Kidz Academy in 2013 after working with children for over 5 years. She became our director in January of 2015. Carolyn enjoys working with young children and is passionate about the work she does each day.
Diana Mendoza Room 4 Teacher and Assistant Director
Diana is the head teacher in our Preschool classroom and works very hard to meet the needs of every individual in her class. She also works closely with the families to help each of her children in her class be prepared to enter kindergarten. Diana is also the assistant director and assists the center director when needed. Diana pursued a career in child care after getting her associates degree in psychology, realizing that child care is where she belongs. ” The best part about being a teacher is when the children rally around you and hug you continually throughout the day it truly makes my day. I love being a part of my children’s growth and development it is truly rewarding.”
Grandpa and Grandma Mendoza Cook and School Maintenance

They have had all of their grandchildren graduate preschool here and so all of the children learn to call them grandma and grandpa so they are now the grandparents of all of Kidz Academy and loving every minute of it.
Grandpa and Grandma prepare and serve the children’s lunch each day and Make sure the school is clean. They also do the maintenance outside the building, ensuring that it looks inviting for all of our families.
Natalie Uribe Room 4 Preschool Teachers aide

Isabella Ramirez Room 3 teacher
Miss Isabella is one of our two’s teacher in our room 3 classroom alongside Miss Brenda and has been with us since August of 2024. Isabella is currently a student at De Anza college majoring an early childhood education. she Enjoys working with each and everyone of the children and together with Miss Brenda they created safe and nurturing environment and aid each child And making their milestones. Miss Isabella’s passion is doing art with the children!
Brenda Johnson Room 3 Teacher
Brenda has been with us since November of 2020 and is a Dedicated, hardworking teacher in our two year old classroom who has over 20+ years in the childcare field. She works hand in hand with our families to ensure that each child has a positive experience at school.
Salma billow Room 1 and 2 Infant/ Toddler Teacher
Salma has been with us since January 2023 she was with us until August 2024 then she went back to school to get her Bachelors degree in child development. she has now returned to us in May 2025. She is a dedicated, hard-working, reliable, thoughtful teacher who has a passion for making a difference in young children’s lives. Being around children brings her much joy and she loves watching them grow. she has experience working with children of all ages, including infant toddlers, preschool and school age where she has been able to support and make an impact on their developmental growth.
